The self-hosted deployment offers full control and flexibility over server and network resources, along with customizable media workflows.
The original version of Ensemble Video was designed as a self-hosted video platform for institutions that want to support self-organized management and delivery of media assets from their local area network, inside their data center. Typically, self-hosted customers have many internal users across the enterprise managing hundreds to tens-of-thousands of videos for multiple internal departments. With Ensemble Video self-hosted, you can have unlimited users, institutions, organizations and media libraries.
The self-hosted deployment offers full control and flexibility in the areas of server administration, security, media management and media workflows. Management of the self-hosted system can be centralized or distributed based on your institution' needs. Ensemble Video also integrates with a wide range of video technologies and tools across the enterprise to support diverse video applications.
The Ensemble Video Platform is comprised of four (4) different technologies and can be installed on 2 (minimum) to 4 (maximum) servers. The software can be installed on virtual or physical servers, so you can create a customized, cost-effective server configuration that fits with your IT resources and supports all your intended uses.
There are multiple licensing models for Ensemble's self-hosted platform. Choose an annual unlimited license or a perpetual unlimited license based on your full-time enrollment or full-time employee count. There is also an annual limited title license.
